The Institute for Strategic and Defense Studies and the Hungarian Association for Military Science organized an online roundtable discussion on the development prospects of Hungarian defense industry on April 22, 2021. Experts discussed the key features of developing Hungarian defense industry from the very limited grounds that had existed by 2016, the role of new acquisitions in R&D, innovation and production, as well as the potential international relevance of the new developments within the ’Zrínyi’ Armed Forces Modernization Plan.
